Synopsis
Publisher's Summary The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight - telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done. Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant. Only it turned out, the man I'd just told off wasn't the right guy. Oops. My mistake. Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology. I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right? That's what I thought...until I walked into class the next morning. Well, hello Professor West, I'm your new teaching assistant. I'll be working under you...figuratively speaking. Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing working under Professor West. This was going to be interesting. ©2017 C. Scott Publishing Corp. (P)2017 C. Scott Publishing Corp.

this was a riveting and enthralling journey I enjoyed it original it was funny and complex

I love VI's books and this is one of my favorites! I think that every time i finish one though. I can't wait for the next! Keep 'em coming VI!

First half is dull. Same old same old. The last few chapters better, but not Worth the time to listen to. Got it, too listen to while I wasdriving over night. Almost put me to sleep.

Overall, this was a good read. I enjoyed the twist of the outcome regarding the flashbacks. What I didn't enjoy is the whole, "I don't like committment, but I'm willing to change for you..." I feel like this is a common theme with all these romantic erotic books.

This is one of those romance stories that begins as any other would, but it has a great twist to it that I did not see coming.Vi Keeland may have just made a fan girl out of me.The characters, especially the Rachel, were people I'd love to know. She's sassy, but vulnerable too, and I loved the push and pull between she and Professor Hottie. By the end of the book, my heart was just melting. I definitely recommend this book and hope to see more like this from Keeland.

It was a good story. It was pretty good. A little sad at times. It made me not want to hear the love scenes because I felt like they were not appropriate after getting into the story. Good book overall

Such a sweet and sexy story - more than the usual hot and steamy romance - the story line was excellent (hesitating to say more for fear of spoiling)-the characters were well developed, believable, and very real!So worth the credit - hated for this to end!Awesome!

It’s good enough to pass the time but it’s forgettable and perfunctory. The bit about Kane always listening in place of a Priest seemed far fetched to me and ultimately wound up feeling really sappy and cheesy at the end, even Sebastian York seemed blasé at the end of his performance and he’s always awesome.

A little disappointing. The narration was good but the climax in the plot was kinda dull.

Some odd places sex scenes after someplot developments. Made me puzzled onhow much he left his dog alone, doesn’t matter how hot the dude is described in the book, he’s an awful pet owner. Great narration though!
