Synopsis
Publisher's Summary Elizabeth knows what's expected of her - perfection. She's the daughter of an earl and expected to marry well and say and do the right things with a smile on her face when inside she's dying for a chance to escape. Thanks to an inheritance her godmother left her years ago, her chance will come with her next birthday. Her hopes of escape abruptly end when Robert, her childhood nemesis whom she hasn't seen in over 14 years, comes back into her life and does everything he can to drive her out of her mind even as he steals her heart. He hated her. At least he tried to hate her, but it was so damn difficult to hate someone that he couldn't live without. He tried to ignore her, tried to focus on anything but her, but nothing worked. Somehow she made her way into his heart and started to make him want things that he never thought possible, made him smile and laugh even while she drove him out of his mind and started a legacy by turning him into...a Bradford. ©2014 Rerum Industries, Inc. This series is a mix of hot hilarious and sweet. I love how the story is told. Passing stories down though the family is the sweetest thing. I simply loved everything about the book. Heart warming!

This is my favor book in this series so far. I feel like this gives a great background for the other books in the series. Please it has a great story line.

I am always entertained by the Bradford’s and their women. I wasn’t sure about this one at first, but found I absolutely loved it. It was really fun to hear how the Bradford’s came to be. I loved the characters. I’d definitely recommend this series!

My favorite part of the book was the tradition that they passed down from generation to generation. I also really enjoyed the relationship between Elizabeth and Robert. This was one of my favorite books in this series so far.The thing I found most annoying though was the narrator. Her British accent was not good at all and ruined some of it for me.

Any additional comments? This is a really good story great narration. I love this series so much. Must have book. This is one I can listen to over and over again

Yes H/H's behaviors are childish but it seems real to me. Sometimes some people get the worse out of you. This is one of those books that leave you thinking at the end of it. In a way you are happy because the H/H ended up together of course, but in other sad because their life had to be so hard for two people growing up in luxury and with families so well off. Also stories that move forward decades always gives one a sense of melancholy to see it all gone and replaced by the new. Loved the love scenes especially the first one in the orangery. Loved this book.

10+ stars! I haven’t read a historical romance in a little while, this was awesome. R L Matthewson does such a wonderful job of drawing you in! The way she incorporated the history of the Bradfords in this story was excellent! This series can’t be missed. Don’t even try to guess where things are going, for every one thing you figure out, there are five things you didn’t see coming. The tropes may begin as enemies to lovers, but that’s not all, there is always way more in store for you!Fran Jules is awesome! I loved her in the previous neighbors from hell books, but this one sealed it, she is now my all-time favorite female narrator! Not only does she do an excellent job distinguishing each character, male and female, but she also does accents incredibly well. I couldn’t put this book down, and at 3:30 in the morning when I finally finished I couldn’t sleep! I can’t wait to go on with the series, but I don’t want it to end, ever!💖
