This thing can't decide if it's a horror, drama, thriller, comedy or a porno! Nothing new...in fact, this is one on the most overused plots in TV and film. Neighbour 'witnesses' a murder through a window...sees 'body being carried in a bag', but turns out to be something else...jumping back and forth from reality to daydreams...it got quite tedious by episode 3. The only good thing is that it's a massive improvement on 'Queen Pins'...and she appears to have taken her latex mask off. Very mediocre.

I actually don't know what to say, It had good points, bad points, very far fetched, over the top. I think due to that it made it unrealistic but with that in mind, worth a watch.

Besides the large wine glass being filled up to the brim every time, the only funny thing about this series is the long title. From that, you assume that this is some dark comedy spoof of those movies that start with "The Girl in the...." Sadly, it is not. It does try to be funny but fails miserably as the tone is just not right. As for mystery and suspense, it is also very silly. The big reveal is ridiculous, and the ending is eyeroll-inducing. I give it 5 stars because Kristin Bell is a respectable actress and the show does succeed in its cliffhangers keeping you lured in between each short episode. As hooked as you may feel though, keep in mind that you're in for a huge disappointment.

It was decent until the last episode or two. Parody or not the writing got lazy. What a way to ruin a series. Definitely won't watch another season if there is one.

Man I wished someone have told me this was a satire to The Woman in The Window (2021), I wouldn't have wasted my time on this. It took itself so seriously that it tricked me into thinking it's another bad Netflix show. Overall, if you never heard of movies like The Woman in the Window or don't care about them, don't waste time on this show. 2.5/10.

People who haven't watched popular thriller movies in the last five years won't get it. The Woman in the Window, Girl on a Train, etc. Where one woman solves a mystery, usually a murder. This has it's moments. Guess this just just a those who get it, get it.

Anna, a friend stricken woman living for drink and pills becomes infatuated with a handsome man that moves in opposite, one night she witnesses something harrowing in a window. I can't believe the negative reviews on this one, it took me a good few episodes to get what it was about, it's a mystery, it's a spoof, it's a bit of a thriller, but all in all, it's a good watch, it dares to be a little different. Netflix and Prime are loaded with straight laced thrillers, many are great, don't expect that style here, this is quirky, and at times pretty funny. If I had one major criticism, it's the format, it should have been a two hour film, it didn't need to be, and shouldn't have been stretched out into an eight part series, I could understand people getting frustrated with it. Kristen Bell is fantastic throughout, the acting in general are terrific, as are the visuals, it is a superbly produced series. 8/10.

Honestly how does this type of garbage even get made?! And with an a-list actress no less!? Did Kristen Bell even read the script before she took this role? I guess it's supposed to be a comedy?... I really don't know. It missed the mark on every level.

This could have just been a movie. Decent acting and a few laughs. The parody didn't go far enough leaving a few stale jokes and too predictable of a storyline.
