Let's get this out in the open ... this is NOT a highbrow drama destined for multiple Emmy nominations. This is a fun and campy drama/dark comedy that encourages us to look back at the peak of the COVID pandemic and laugh a little at how we handled it. There are those who denied the seriousness, those who politicized a public health crisis, those who were in a constant state of panic, and those who simply tried to help others and continue their lives as best they could. We observe the story's heroes and see the sacrifices, heartbreak and tough decisions they made for the greater good. Fun series. Well worth the time. Just go into it expecting a campy approach, not a serious drama or laugh out loud comedy.

And, after seeing a few, I KNOW that the good reviews are shills... since there IS no director's cut...or extended version...we saw the same program. If they watched at all...I think, after seeing the Good Wife AND Fight, that the first people that got bitten was them... it's unbelievable that these same people are responsible for this program... Lame would be a euphemism. As would trite. Just thought I'd try to warn some of you...

When I saw this was by the same people who did Evil I thought this would be worth a look. It wasn't. Another excuse to do a zombie/walking dead crap show. Seems any excuse to smack the genre over our heads. A great idea though, a variant of Covid, something we can all relate to and handled right it could have been a damn good thriller horror with subtle comedy. But as soon as I saw the dead come back to life it stunk to high heaven. Have to say, I wasn't taken with the characters back stories though. Unbelievable and OTT, hopeless. Steer clear, it's a 2 because the clickbait worked. No spoilers, it spoils itself.

Very enjoyable mix of sci-fi, horror, drama, and comedy. Wish it was available to a wider audience so I could recommend it to friends.

Finished the first episode, couldn't not believe that such known actors were capable of delivering such bad acting. Five minutes in the second episode, and my despair is confirmed. Bad story, bad writing, bad acting and even worse than that. Okay, I get it, during Covid-19, it was almost impossible to record good tv shows. But that does not mean they should give up trying. Clearly this series has been thrown together very quickly and nobody knew what they were actually doing. Maybe on paper the storyline was funny, but the result is very, very bad. A few examples, without telling any spoilers. A doctor who is working for months on her computer, doing Zoom consultations. Clearly she is able to work with multiple screens, multiple computers. But when things get heated, she forgets how the unmute button works. Really? Do the producers think we are that stupid? Another example, the dominatrix sees a guy growling and attacking her like an animal, but still thinks the guy is having a bad reaction to bath salts. Come on guys, how dare you to think we, the viewers, would be so stupid to believe this? I get the comparison with Brain Dead and Santa Clarita Diet. Which were very good shows and cancelled too early. But this one? It should've never been produced.

This is a satirical comedy-drama with a great cast - and zombies. It may not win any Emmys, but it is highly entertaining. Obviously a few reviewers here are cranky because it pokes fun at their Fox News bubble, so clearly it hit its mark. Enjoy!!!

I don't know who the twit was at CBS that gave this show a green light, but I do know this show stinks in the worst possible way. It's like one of those cheap amateur productions that splurged on great looking sets and lighting but forgot to spend decent money on good script writing. It's not funny, the story line is juvenile, the acting ho hum and you have to wonder why anyone would waste their time creating this abomination.

Did you even watch the show? Very good show we'll written well acted.

Wish it had more than 6 episodes, watched them all in an evening. Great cast, acting, storyline, cinematography & music. Had a perfect mix of drama, humor & horror. Despite the Covid undertones,it didn't distract from overall premise. Worth a watch!

This show makes you mad that you are even watching it. Actresses are horrible, storyline is horrible, everything About the storyline is just ridiculous. Whoever wrote this Should never ride another screen play story or anything again ever. I didn't laugh or interested, was more irritated watching this.
