source: Scream 4

Exactly ten years after the horrific Woodsboro massacre, survivor Sidney Prescott—who has successfully authored a self-help book and put the tragedy behind her—returns to her quiet little hometown to visit her cousin Jill, as well as reunite with old friends Dewey (now the town sheriff), and wife Gail (suffering from an extreme case of writer's block). Unfortunately for Sidney her timing couldn't be worse as the Ghostface killer returns, this time not only emulating the original murders, but seemingly trying to outdo them in any way, shape, or form. A surprisingly effective, belated entry to the classic Scream series at times feels more like a remake than a sequel, yet delivers the goods with well-drawn characters, snappy dialogue, violence and suspense, but the film's greatest virtue is its wonderfully witty sense of humor. Imperfect, especially in its final act, but well-made and a lot of fun. ***

At the end of Scream 4, Sidney is a grounded howler; this means that she is the queen of the bedding - "the problem with Sidney is that she never gets laid" Keep sending me those dreams babe (to Sidney 4)

This is a pretty stupid movie and absolutely the worse one of Wes Craven. It seems that horror film value has become equal to trying to get the twist at the end. If you give twisting end to the audience you can make an absolute two hour failure before that and your movie will be considered as good. The worse thing is that this movie does not have even the twisting end as its sooo predictable, combining all the previous Scream parts. Poor old Wes, I remember how imaginative was he in the seventies and eighties and there is no trace of that man in this movie. No plot (oh, sorry, somebody is killing around and that might be a plot), no suspense (even your anticipation on killing moments only cannot be wrong) and absolutely no character development at all. Cheep and shallow, not even semi-entertaining.
