This movie is literally the country version of footloose. Instead of dancing being outlawed it's the rodeo.

I've been on a Netflix kick stuck at home and after watching so many great movies on there I have to say I am extremely disappointed in this film. This film was like watching a bad hallmark movie. Everything was hollow, the performances, the story, just all below part. A film like this should have a strong emotional foundation to it, but it didn't. I kept wanting to turn it off, but I kept it on in hopes of it getting better, but I was wrong. Don't waist your time.
Incredible movie that the whole family can watch that shows the rodeo in a good way. Great acting by Josh Swickard and Lauren York .
I sat through the first half hour in the hope that it would pick up. But no. I very rarely stop part way into a movie.
This story and love line is amazing! It made me smile!
My wife is watching and I bolted halfway through. Would rather putz about and do chores than continue watching. Scrubbing pans is more enjoyable. This less-than-Hallmark production feels like a fevered reverse conservative victimhood fantasy, with maniacal animal rights zealots banning rodeos for whatever reason and the cowboys with straight goodboys ethos taking their licks but ultimately showing them what's what. It could have worked. But the soap opera acting, on the nose leaden dialog and nuance-free character development tank the whole thing. NOT time well spent.
Super cringey if you've ever been around rodeo. The sentiment is nice and they have a good story but it was cheesy beyond words. It's good to see the rodeo community voicing their position and getting a say on their portrayal. That being said, could've been better executed.
I LOVED this movie. Josh Swickard is so good in it and I hope there will be many more to come for him and his wife Lauren. Their real life behind the scenes love story made it even more special.
My wife roped me into watching this one with her. It wasn't too bad. But if you've seen Footloose, you've seen this.
