Olivia Rodrigo Songs

source: Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film)

Rodrigo, at 19, is already a stunningly great songwriter, and her age adds to her appeal in its angst and rawness. But her ability/willingness to be so nakedly emotional, mixed with her natural cleverness with words and phrases, are so beyond her age that I can't wait to see how she grows. And her voice; maybe my favorite modern singer. The control, tone, dynamics, and ability to convey story and emotion are insane without abusing unnecessary vocal acrobatics. The gas station performance is my favorite.

This film just proves how much of a talent Olivia is. She is so amazing and her songs mean a lot to many people worldwide. I recommend this to all those who want to know how her album was made.

Personally, I LOVED it. When combined with (what was to me) newfound knowledge on the meanings behind so many of the songs I loved, it was perfect. It was intensely emotional and thoughtful. But I have to say, from a film standpoint, NOTHING stands out. If you don't like the music and the meaning behind it, you won't like it at all. 90% of the enjoyment derived from the film solely depends on your take on the songs itself.

I've loved Olivia Rodrigo's music for a year now and I'm so happy I found it. This documentary was a perfect insight to the recording of SOUR and what it was like to see it all come to life. Perfect!

I truly believe she's incredibly talented, but this seems way to forced. Give her some more years!! She has a lot to say but I think in two years she'll have a lot more to say. Music and performances are amazing btw.

Fresh new instruments, strong chemistry with Dan, wrapped with beautiful cinematography, driving home 2 u is a good documentary for the beginning of olivia's career.

I absolutely LOVE this film. I love all her music and if you are reading this Olivia please comment. I would cry if you would and thank you so much for this amazing movie.

Inspiring. You kept so much in you, yet tried to put some of it in songs, made me lose in you while I was watching this. Hope I see this storytelling with every album of you.. My respect towards you has all reached all the heights of you.
