As much as I liked the first one as much I hated this one. This is utterly trash. Only to watch for the gore and let me say, ultragore. It started really well and looked fine but after 15 minutes it becomes boring and slow. The further it goes it becomes ridiculous. Gorehounds will love it, but you have to sit through 1h43 minutes of a really really bad flick. Gore 5/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 5/5 Story 0/5 Comedy 0/5.

Such a shame because the first one was pretty good.. This? ... Not only is seriously bad.. It's seriously bad and very very long. Bad and long is the worst combination ever possible.

So this part takes a turn from the first one and starts telling the story of the monsters. And boy, that's a sight: you have gore, love, teenage drama, jealousy, and yes, also a lot of cringy COMEDY. Someone please tell the director it just cannot be all. The speeches are plain dumb and childish, the plot lacks consistency and, frankly, common sense. The acting is pretttty bad, but I honestly don't know what acting could save such a script. It definitely goes on my Bad Movies Night list. I think that was the director's intention all along. And yet somehow I'm considering watching the third part too. I'm just too involved at this point.

I am baffled that this film is only 4.5 on IMDB. To the point I was so shocked I created an account to write a review. I personally thought it was a great film, I loved the comedy elements alongside the gory scenes. I have seen the first one as well and I think they are both great! Definitely worth a watch, there were moments I was laughing out loud and the storyline was interesting as well!

Likable Quirky horror comedy and monster love story. The film never takes itself too seriously. It starts out with a young kid wanting to make his mark in the world and looking for love. But life has some twist and turns he didn't expect.

I liked the first movie. I would say it was cute, nothing special but very nice watch on a weekend. Unfortunately the sequel that takes place just after the first one is just a mistake. It's less dynamic and it's quite sad - the producers probably hoped it will be succesfull but it just doesn't work for me. And I'm sad because I'm Polish and I would love to see more Polish movies to be hits around the world. Oh well. If you enjoyed the first movie- I can recommend 'All my friends are dead'- also Polish comedy horror available on Netflix.

Don't lose time watching this film... stupid, boring. It is not 18+. Not even 13+ Really bad effects too........you see by the ratings that film isn't Good.

What I want from the genre. Original, fun FX, and doesn't take itself seriously. If you prefer 80s monsters and body-horror over modern ghost dramas, then this movie is for you. Eager for an equally unpredictable Part 3!

I really like the first film. This is a totally waste of time. I don't get why a lot of horror directors think their sequels have to be comedy-horror.

Even though I'm a horror fan, Netflix's horror movies are usually not the best movies on the streaming service. Like the first Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight, they are usually average or slightly above average. Unfortunately, this film failed to even meet those expectations. The film starts off poorly, with a scene that doesn't have much to do with anything. The viewer then meets the main characters, who are both unlikeable and unrealistic choices for police officers. Apparently, there are only three police officers in this town and they are an old and out of shape man, a young man with less courage than the Wizard of Oz lion, and a girl who looks like she should be in her freshman year of college. Other than the survivor from the first film, the only other characters we meet are an animal abuser, two annoying camp directors, and two neo-nazis. Overall, one of the most unlikeable casts possible. The plot appears to be written by a child, because it is equally as bad as the characters. Instead of scares and suspense, the movie chooses to make one failed joke after another. And as bad as the first half of movie is, the second half is significantly worse. The scenes that include dialogue between monsters are some of the worst scenes ever produced by Netflix. The only good thing I can say about this film is that some of the murders are pretty unique. I should have turned this film off in the first twenty minutes, but decided to keep watching since the first film was worth a view. Netflix is currently considering a third film in this series. I would strongly recommend that they scrap those plans and put those resources into a new series that could have more potential. 2/10 Pros and Cons Summary +Some of the kills are pretty interesting -None of the jokes are funny -All characters are highly unlikeable -Not scary -All scenes that include dialogue between monsters are excruciatingly bad.
