I started counting every time I get tears in my eyes, the end result was 3. This was very emotional... I felt that I'm really in that team, watching how much Messi suffered during his international career was heartbreaking... Messi winning the World Cup was one of the happiest moments of my life... Watching how much this team was giving just to make it happen for 50 million Argentines people, for themselves and much more for Messi was really heartwarming. I'm happy to witness Messi since his start at Barcelona when I was a little boy and seeing him becoming the world champion as a grown man, nothing changed, I'm still enjoying every single minute he plays. Thanks Apple for this and this is the first time ever I write a review on a documentary, a movie or whatever, and it has to be a documentary about Messi becoming the best player ever touched football. Minimum 10 out of 10.

"Messi's World Cup: The Rise of a Legend" is a breathtaking testament to the indomitable spirit of football as embodied by Lionel Messi. Through meticulously crafted visuals and immersive storytelling, the documentary unveils the intricate tapestry of Messi's journey through the World Cup, capturing the essence of his triumphs and tribulations on the field. It transcends the boundaries of sport, offering a profound exploration of the human experience through the lens of athletic excellence. With each scene, viewers are drawn deeper into the drama and emotion of Messi's quest, gaining a newfound appreciation for the dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering passion that fuel his extraordinary talent. This cinematic masterpiece earns a resounding 5/5 rating, not only for its technical brilliance but also for its profound insight into the transformative power of sport in shaping lives and inspiring generations.

"Lionel Messi has conquered his final peak. Lionel Messi has shaken hands with paradise. The little boy from Rosario, Santa Fe, has just pitched up in heaven. He climbs into a galaxy of his own. He has his crowning moment and, of course, he is not alone. He was beautiful. He was the point of difference. He has always been the point of difference. Unparalleled, and maybe today there will, of course, always be those who argue, always be those who debate. And the debate could rage on if you like. But as he falls in love with the object in the world that his heart most desired, it is hard to escape the supposition that he has rendered himself today, the greatest of all time."

A great way to relive a month or two in your life which were all about this beautiful game. And I am not from Argentina. Great piece of art to repaint some of the greatest moments in any sports in history, let alone football. The documentary could have been longer, but then they wanted to be crisp and had so much to include. Well edited. Imagine all these amazing shots going to waste had Argentina not won the World Cup. It would have been France's story and we would have lost the twist of Saudi's game and the Netherlands one. The goal against Mexico, the moment would have been lost forever. And it also captures the genius of Dibu.

The Messi documentary stands out as the pinnacle of documentary series ever created for him, flawlessly guiding viewers through his journey. While it captures the essence of his career, there are a few aspects I wish were included. Specifically, glimpses into the World Cup qualifiers for Russia 2018, coverage of the victorious 2021 Copa America, and deeper insights into the celebrations in the capital on 12/18/2022. Nonetheless, it remains a sensational and profoundly inspiring documentary experience. Messi is arguably the greatest story of overcoming adversity in a sportsman and undoubtedly the most talented and greatest player of all time. A part of football will die when he leaves the pitch.

The best documentary about Messi that exists. Everything was done very rigorously, showing the entire journey and sacrifices made by Messi throughout his career with the Argentine national team. Great fit with the socio-cultural reality experienced in Argentina, and the true meaning of football for the Argentine people. I highly recommend it not only to anyone who likes Messi, but also to anyone who likes football. It is a glimpse of a dream career, filled with effort and sacrifice to reach an epic end, only within the reach of the predestined. To conclude, this documentary is an inspiration for everyone who has been lucky enough to follow the world of football over the last 20 years.
