Maybe I Do

The story isn't bad but the conversations are unbelievably bad. None of them flow and most of time not even believable. I can't imagine anyone one in any of the situations would behave the way every single characters does in every scene. It's like they are all awkward individuals that can't communicate or act appropriately. Maybe one person might be weird and a bad conversationalist, but everyone in the movie? It makes the whole movie hard to get into and believe. I don't think it's bad acting, although it comes off that way, because it's a good cast. I think it is the writing that ruined the whole movie. It seems lazy and not thought out at all. There isn't a single articulate conversation in the whole movie. Such a bummer because the cast is great.

OMG! I thought with actors like Diane Keaton, William H. Macy, Susan Sarandon, and Richard Gere that something actually watchable would be possible. This is an embarrassment. Too many contrived plot points to mention. There wasn't one character that was interesting or likable. William H. Macy and Diane Keaton play the weakest and lamest characters of their career. I'm still not sure what Richard Gere was supposed to be doing. Susan Sarandon plays one of the nastiest characters and you beg for her to go away every time you see her. This is the first time I've ever seen Emma Roberts act . . . If you want to call it acting. It was one dimensional . . . Although, I think her character is supposed to be one dimensional and needy. The idea of spending a lifetime married to her is painful to consider. Don't waste your time watching this movie. You will desperately want the time back to do other things . . . Like cleaning out the lint trap on your dryer.

Perfectly cast and incredibly truthful. It has been a long time since I've seen a simply told, but complex story about love and coupled relationships. Who has faced this test and passed the goal line? Can human error be forgiven? The script showcases something special in each actor's personal style and values. Mr. Gere remains Zen; Ms. Keaton calls on Annie Hall; Mr. Macy goes back to Fargo, and Ms. Sarandon is hotter than ever. Of course, I was happy to see Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey paired again. Their chemistry carried over from Holidate. Michael Jacobs tells a good story in a hilarious context.

The reviews on this very site said this movie would be bad. "How bad could it be?", I said to myself. Well, bad. Like bad bad. And not even like entertainingly bad. Just time wastingly bad. The dialogue, storyline, casting, believability and logics in this film where so strange. One single scene in the movie was okay. Made me giggle just a bit. But that was all there was in the 90 long lasting minutes this movie took of my precies time. Now i need to typ 140 more characters for a movie that aren't even worth that much. Anyway, i would not watch this movie, a movie of this director, with this actors or any people who are involved with this movie ever again. Cheers.

Avoid at all costs. Was so excited to see the cast then just couldn't believe it is such a boring long moving about nothing. Nothing happens and everyone is just lost in their own selfish horrible relationships world of messy broken people just wandering around the movie like lost souls. Even the actors look bored acting such a bad script. Shame shame shame. Not worth ur time not worth the plot no feel Good moment nor jokes nor laughs just a blah blah blah movie that does nothing for you. Just skip it. Wonder what they were thinking when they wrote it. Zero effort given by everyone involved. Booooo.
