Classic waste-timer action(??) movie, of US against mexican druglords.... If you cannot sleep, then give it a go....You would have probably forgotten it by the time you wake up!

"Larceny" is what it is. It's a low budget Dolph Lundgren action movie. Nothing more. It looks nice and moves fast. It might overstay it's welcome a little bit but not by much. Dolph is pretty consistent in the kind performances he delivers. "Larceny" is no different. Most of the rest of the cast does its job pretty well. The stand out is the very dreamy Jocelyn Osorio. She makes this movie rather watchable.

I hope the 18 producers got some money back for their investment ... They were more than HALF the total cast (28) which could be a record ! ThE "action" if you can call it that, was abysmal and the actors moved around some old warehouse like they were robots, and even the dialogue was incomprehensible. A waste of time ...

No spoilers. Watching the movie itself would be a spoiler. I genuinely could not believe how bad it was. Acting was worse than *. One liners must have been prepared by teenagers. Plot line was ... wait, what plot line?! Cannot believe Dolph Lundgren agreed to do this movie.

A friend of mine told me, after I watched the movie, that production broke down, because of money issues. He thought the movie would never get finished when he read that. So you can say in a way, good for them they found a way to finish it, but you can also say, a shame it got made under this circumstances at all. And even Dolph can't save it. Not to mention an ending, that only makes sense if you know the production issues. Also an anti-climactic scene with the villain, that makes him look like a boy scout. But again, everything making sense when you think about the money issues. Then again, does that play a role in your "enjoyment" of the movie? At least there are some nice action scenes/stunts ...

Lundgren can not act as in Rocky 4, because at that time the context of the film called for a character without emotion and with the least of speeches. In that film, he acted horribly, with no emotion in the scenes. Is it if he liked this job? As for the film, the story unfolds with facts without ties. Realize that it has never been easier to enter a penitentiary. Wow, how pathetic. I do not recommend!

Wow such a horrible movie!!!! I watch because I like Dolph Lundgren but I decided to sign up an account on IMDb just to warn people not to watch this movie. I failure to understand how this movie was made as i saw from review for 6 million dollars. I don't believe. The action scenes felt so cheap and the acting horrible. The story was all over the place and was not interesting. Music felt like fake orchestra. This should also be example to why sound is important for movies. The sound fx, very low fi and old sounding. The sound mix was so bad in places that I could not understand words, especially outside scenes. please don't waste time on this movie, I have no idea why it was made.
