... one of the better European productions no one has heard about... sure, it's a difficult show watching due to its subject... there's lots going on in the storyline, all handled exceptionally well... she's extremely talented on several artistic levels... here she lays out a vision and takes some very creative risks... portraying situations that so few can relate to, it just all then rests on hard-emotions ... with so many series that just regurgitate formula garbage gobbled up without need of thought, this one's not easy accepting, but for those appreciating the result wish more would risk taking chances.

Good show .But a little long winded during some of the couples arguments. I can't believe the songs( not unlike the ABBA era )that were written written for the series a couple are excellent. What talent to do this and the actors sing them. Some very touching moments too. Over all well worth a look. The scenes from their Hey days were very well done, photos, posters, short pieces ,songs etc.etc. Other characters in the series are good also. The main two steal the show but are well supported by their co-stars. The manager, his wife and two of the band members add to the show. It is not a long series which works out well.

I rarely write a review but this series is exceptional!! Brilliant acting on behalf of all the characters particularly the main stars. Great story! It was so well done on so many levels. I will now be looking out for more films from this director and these actors. I felt like I had been taken back in time to when this band could have been famous. Even the songs were great. The story was so incredibly unique. I felt that the stars could have gone on to have music careers. The chemistry between the two main characters was so believable I thought they were perhaps playing real-life roles. I would watch it all again.

It's worth mentioning that I'm usually a big fan of Josephine B. If her other productions are "feelgood", this is "feelbad". A show about constant arguing, being miserable, and zero entertainment in between. Daniel Karlsson plays the same, miserable, role he always does; aiming to appear deep and complex but really so shallow and poor acting. How this show got a 5.9/10 rating here is beyond me.
