A cringe worthy show in all aspects. Not a single actor seems comfortable in their part. No believable performances. Nothing fits. NOthing lands. The annoying laugh track reminds you that this is a comedy. The dialogue does not. The only decent performance was by the poor fish Google that actually died twice. John Cryer performance comes across as an attempt to play John Cryer rather that the character in this show. I watched 2 1/2 episodes just because, umm you figure it out. How does something this bad get by professionals in the entertainment industry? Or am I out of touch with comedy or modern life?

Hacky, recycled jokes. Couldn't make it 10 minutes into the pilot. Terrible. I didn't want to write more about this show because it doesn't deserve the my time but IMDB days my review is too short. I don't want other people to make the terrible mistake I did and watch this other piece of garbage so I will keep writing. Whoever green lit this pilot should be fired and blackballed from ever writing in the entertainment industry again. Anyone involved in writing it should also be blackballed. This was awful. Terrible. Garbage. Only need to write a few more words ... Let's see. I didn't like this show.

After the first few episodes, I thought no, what were they thinking, this is ridiculous and will never work. But I have loved Jon Cryer since Pretty in Pink, and I fell n love with Donald Faison in Clueless. So I hung in there, and I'm so glad that I did. It is a very engaging story about exes who remain good friends. It's a light hearted comedy about family life. It's fun for the entire family. I think it's a well written script, and a good cast whose comedic timing is flawless. Does it get a little cheesy sometimes. Yes. Does it go overboard sometimes. Yes. But that's what makes it fun to watch. Cryer isn't afraid to step outside the box and be a little cheesy. I think it makes for good entertainment.

The premise of this show sounded entertaining and I've always enjoyed Jon Cryer. I believe that this way of co parenting would greatly benefit children. But in the first scenes the Grandfather tells a horrible death story of the family cat. It is emphasized greatly that this cat suffered. It wasn't funny, it was sick. I could not sit and watch this and I turned it off. The writers and staff should be ashamed of themselves, this isn't family tv. My fear is also that they opened with such a non tasteful story what were they going to top this with? I should mention also the goldfish in the show was dead and they threw it all over the room.
