worthless movie. Who is its director? are you still alive in the movie industry? If I were the director, he would plant corn.

Good

Little Red Riding Hood goes to grandma's house and finds her eaten by a wolf. Instead of Red, it is the whole family and instead of a wolf, it is the escaped testing creature. The creature is blind and hunts by sound, not sure why it isn't bumping into things. Characters were lousy. Dialogue poor. Guide: No sex or nudity. Don't recall hearing any swearing in fast forward.

This film makes The Silence seem oscar-worthy.... I've seen my share of bad movies but this one is just.....W.O.W

Please stop. the movie was very bad. it hurts my third country intelegency. please just stop making more movie. just move on. get another job. get a beer. sit. relax. and do nothing.

This film well what can I say! I'm currently watching it and even after being told the thing responds to sound all the females in the film continue to scream with all their might! OMFG I'm losing the plot and shouting would have enjoyed this film so much more if it wasn't for this fact!!!

Worst movie i have watched since decades , its just a waste of time , zero story zero senario zero in everything

Yes the films titles. Silly. Those reviewers marking this a 1 and saying its 'worst film ever' are quite frankly sad. Theres NO WAY this is even close to being the worst film ever made. Cons. Yes it has faults, the name, the overly long scenes of nothing before the kills, those idiotic fake American accents when the film is CLEARLY set in UK!?? Ha ha. Why? Help sell jn America ?? Creature attracted to sound......so women scream constantly. !?? Using Predator sounds for creature was also amusing. Sons back story was pointless. Some hit and miss acting at times. Pros. But it is well put together, a good standard, acting is bearable for the most part (accents aside), there are a couple of decent make up FX on the kills, the creatures mask is good (although the hands look rubber and silly). Music good, editing good. So it's far from the many films out there that look like have been shot by inadequate media students having fun at the weekend. For a derivative monster film riffing off the fantastic 'A Quiet Place' and clearly on a small budget it works ok. Well done to all involved. Good effort. Onwards and upwards.

One of the things I loved about this site is that I could come there and get really good reviews on movies. Seems now all we get are reviews from people who can't sit for more than 2 minutes or have poor comprehension skills and need to have things spelled out for them. This movie is NOT that bad. Silent Place (or titled: Don't Speak when I saw it on T*bi) is pretty much in the same vein as Quiet Place: Creatures that hunt via sound. Movie opens with a family that goes to check on her parents, finds the unnamed small village empty, crawling with creatures that hunt via sound. We aren't given an explanation on what they are although later in the film, Mom and Dad speculate on what they are, where they came from. Family spends the rest of the movie fighting for their lives, fending off the monsters while trying to stay alive. Production value wasn't too bad, the monsters looked like if Alien had a human body. The characters were a little frustrating in that even though they figure out the monsters are attracted by sound they wouldn't stop screaming. Frustration aside, the gore factor was pretty good. Is this Shakespeare? No. Its a halfway decent movie to watch on a lazy saturday afternoon in quarantine that has good gore.
