This series is so intense I certainly weren't prepared for this ultra intense, action packed & somewhat 'edge of the seat' ride experience. I literally had Balaa come up right infront, I just clicked on it without expecting much - well rest is history! I was totally absorbed my the mere intensity. Definitely a very unique painful to watch story. As other users have already mentioned this series is full of pain! I don't generally feel bad for characters but felt really sorry for almost everyone in it. The lead is a true portrayal of a psycho, so creepy & mischievous. Honestly I could never have imagined a Pakistani series could be so powerful & truly intense!

Best part of this drama was it intensity. never seen anything like this before. Samina peerzada was fab Bilal is my fvrt actor in Pak drama, must do films now.

I think this series was best for those people who love to watch dramas with pain..lol. I mean this story was mind blowing. Acting of everyone was awesome. This is perfect drama I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Sajid hassan was key performer in series. Usna did a wonderful job. Bilal failed to justify role. The most important thing that he must focus on is " voice issue". While watching several times i was unable to understand what he is saying. Overall a good series

I asked my husband about this tv series who sometimes watches Pakistani dramas. He is extremely picky when it comes to food & entertainment! He binge watched all 40 episodes of Balaa within like 8 days. Seriously, for a guy who hardly ever watches any Indian soaps it actually was a big deal seeing him glued to our tv (smart tv youtube) spending all his spare time binge watching all the episodes in a matter of days. Thats when it finally caught my attention, I had to ask him the all important questions: why, what, how could you, is it really that good etc. Believe me I've never seen him praise anything like this since Gangs of Wasseypur (best of bollywood) & Breaking Bad (best of hollywood). He ultimately warned me that its extremely intense, realistic, dark, saddening & also has some dark comedy, yes he said this powerful series contains fragments of dark comedy which will sometimes make you laugh out loud. I am from Delhi, dentist by profession & have watched many Indian serials/movies over the past few years but honestly nothing as powerful as this. I must admit even though its a beautifully crafted series - it certainly isn't for fainthearted. This drama will indeed leave you emotionally very very drained. It will show you an extremely nasty side of humans which will ultimately hit you hard. Marvellous direction, incredible script, powerful performances especially by Balaa! I kept saying to myself she actually is a Balaa who will spare no one, not even her supposedly loved ones. I hope Balaa got all the recognition & praise it truly deserves. This is literally unlike anything I've ever seen! Amazingly intense definitely not for a faint of heart!
