Mario, Sonic, and a full cast of characters from both franchises get ready to square-off in yet another Olympic Games showdown! As the games are set to begin, a mysterious game system is discovered. Upon inspection of the system, Mario, Sonic, Toad, Bowser, and Dr. Eggman all get trapped inside! It is now up to Luigi and Tails to find a way to free their friends.
