No one wins. A stalemate happens when a player’s king is safe, and that player doesn’t have any moves to make. It simply means that even if you can’t play any moves and your king is surrounded still the king is in such a position that it is safe from any attacks. The opponent cannot attack your king and there is no way of capturing it. This brings the game to a draw condition. Neither of the players can make any move to win the game.
