Meiko Morita is chosen to transfer into an elite all-girls academy and moves to Tokyo to live in the student dormitory. To her surprise, the dorm also operates as a manga café and she finds herself working there alongside the other residents. This is the beginning of Meiko's new life in a tiny one-tatami room.
