Arts and Public Life— Episode 1

In 2011, the University of Chicago launched the Arts and Public Life initiative in an effort to enrich its cultural interactions with the city and local artists. One major programmatic component of the initiative includes artist residencies. In partnership with the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture, Arts and Public Life welcomed three Chicagoans as artists-in-residence.
