'This is a life and death situation.' | Ayla's story of inspiration, strength, family and love

A powerful story showing how the Wolves Foundation make a difference to the bravest and most deserving in our community. Ayla was diagnosed at a young age with a rare form of Leukaemia and has gone on to battle relapses and brain injury, caused by a blood infection. Despite this, she continues on smiling and inspiring the people around her. Her parents began to hear about Tom, who had began visiting her school with the Wolves Foundation, with his visits becoming the highlight of Ayla's week. She was later surprised with an invitation from Wolfie to be his special guest for a game at Molineux, with all her family coming along. Ayla has been mentored by Tom from Wolves Foundation as part of the Wolf Wise initiative thanks to Children In Need funding
