It took a lot of will power to finish this awful narrated book.It is difficult to know if the book was really that well written because the narrator tore your ears apart with 3rd grade alliteration.Hopefully the next in the series will be improved.

Others have mentioned it, and I wish I'd have read the reviews first, but the audio narration is absolutely horrendous, it is awful.

I had trouble finishing the book because of how bad the narrator is. It took me awhile to get into the story. If they had chosen someone else I feel like I would have been hooked by page 1.

I really enjoyed the story. The narrator didn't quite do it for me. It's not easy to explain but just listen to the sample and you will understand. I would still definitely recommend listening as the story is great!

The reader has a good voice for the younger characters but sounds awful as any and all of the adult male characters. It was a typical Riordan adventure and I enjoyed it but the voice actor was very very poor.

Rick writes such great books but they wasted when the readers aren't even subpar. You would figure with all the money he makes on them, he would pay someone who could actually do accents correctly to read them. Christopher's accents horrible.

I really like the book, like all of Riordan's, but the narrator wasn't good.

It's a amazing story and I think that it is my favorite of ricks books

I really liked the narrator and his voice, I just wished he spoke faster at some parts, but overall another great book by Mr. Riordan himself

loved the story, needs better narrator, his accents were all the same and sounded like the person was a speech issue
