So I watched this 2 years ago or last year and this was so cute, though I wish they continued doing the anime but understand that it was done at Kyoto Animation studios and will miss everyone who was involved in the tragic arson attack at Kyoto Animations Studio, what else is to say than definitely recommending this anime if you haven't seen it. Story starts with a salaryman named Kuroto Nakano and he gets tired and stressed with work and as he comes home one night, he notices a fox girl/ spirit called Senko and she tells him that she's there to cook food and help around the house and basically look after him, then they hang out after this and Nakano gets used to having Senko San around until one day Senko leaves for good but then decides to come back and also each episode has a short video at the end so don't skip the end, the video basically puts you as Nakano and can imagine Senko talking to you.

Got nothing to do? Are you sad and lonely? Well, Senko-san will definitely cheer you up! This anime is just funny and its a pure joy! The characters are adorable and really hard to forget! This anime is all about fun!

The show is actually pretty nice; unique characters and great storyline. The animation style is flawless, Senko's personality just fits perfectly to the story. I think it's a really fun anime to watch at your free-time.

Salaryman Kuroto Nakano leads a tiring and stressful life with long hours. When he finishes work he returns to an empty apartment. Then one day when he gets home he is greeted by what appears to be a young girl... with fox ears and a tail! She explains that she is actually and eight hundred year old demigod and she has come from the spirit world to help relieve his stress. She cooks for him, tidies his apartment and even lets him fluff her tail... something she finds mildly embarrassing. Strangely Kuroto has a feeling that he has met Senko before but can't remember when. Over the course of the series Senko meets Kuroro's neighbour, Yasuko Koenji, an aspiring manga artist who assumes Senko is a cosplayer. They are also regularly visited by Shiro, another fox spirit Senko's age and occasionally by the much older, and rather seductive Yozora. This is one of those series where not much happens but leave you with a warm feeling inside. You don't need a stressful life like Kuroto to sympathise with his initial situation and understand why Senko makes him happy. Senko is an utterly adorable character and it is refreshing that there is nothing sexual about her relationship with Kuroto... his desire to stroke her tail is because it is soft and fluffy. There aren't too many characters and all of the main ones are likeable and fun to watch. The animation is good and the characters have distinctive; the fox demigods are particularly cute. Overall I'd definitely recommend this to anybody wanting a feel good anime series. These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

There are no words to describe this, this much level of wholesome emits enough peace to stop WWIII from even starting

Ok so to start off, I have no idea why it has such a high rating for an anime with no plot and no development whatsoever (maybe 1%). The dialogues are same lines used over and over in every episode with almost no new addition. It's terrible. I thought it would be interesting so I kept watching it and then still nope, nothing. There were some additions of the characters (even though they were spoiled at the very start), but overall every episode is the same. It's a repetition of the same thing over and over. Of course there is a tiny bit of scenery change, but 99% of the time everything happens in main character's apartment. The idea might be nice overall and juiced into something better, but the creators literally have no fkn imagination, not that they don't have it, but they have negative points on imagination stat. Watch something else, please for the love of yourself.

This is so cute, I hope for a s2 This has no spoilers, favorite character has to be: Senko
