Despite being a man down, FC Bayern managed to secure a draw in their away match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Saturday afternoon. Following their strong performance against Atalanta Bergamo in the Champions League round of 16 earlier in the week, Vincent Kompany’s team drew 1-1 against the sixth-place team. Aleix García (6th minute) gave the Werkself an early lead against Munich, who were forced to play a man down starting in the 42nd minute following Nicolas Jackson’s red card.
