The voice for Greypaw and Firehpaw is a bit too annoying, the story is predictable, it’s a good book honestly, but the voice for Greypaw is driving me crazy right now.

What did you like about this audiobook?Enjoyed story very much. Its a great story for young folks.Something for them to enjoy on a ride to that vacation spot.Interesting plot to keep them happy while the miles go by.How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter? This is the first book in a series so there are several from which to choose.Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?Enjoyed them all. What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?Nothing

all except for the lisp they gave graystripe. that kind of drive me crazy and they can definitely go without it

I couldn’t finish listening to this. Firepaw, ravenpaw, tigerclaw, over and over again. Take out all the names repeated over and over and you’d take out half the book. It was very annoying.

I have a slight obsession with cats so when I saw this book for sale on audible I knew I needed to read it. Into the Wild is the first book in the Warriors series by Erin Hunter and it definitely is off to a good start. The narrator of the audiobook was great and I enjoyed all of his voices it really enhanced the book. If/when I continue on in the series I will have to listen to the audiobooks because of how good the narrator was. This book was pretty good. The plot was interesting and it kept my attention throughout the entire book. At times I was frustrated with some of the characters actions but I did enjoy seeing all of the resolutions. Ultimately, it was a good midgrade novel and I'm excited to share this book with my nieces. I think they'll definitely enjoy the fun nature of both the cats & the plot.

As a two legs with kitty pets of my own, it is so much fun listening to the battles of these warriors.

The voice acting was.. Not for me. Annoying at best. Cringy even. Especially when giving a main character their voice.

I could have seen myself getting totally lost in this book as a pre-teen. Reading it as an adult though, it was just meh. Feral cats fighting, clans battling, tribal hierarchy...just not my cup of tea. I've seen this book listed as being for children 8-10, but I can't imagine most that age would follow along very well. I would say readers age 13 and up would like this book. The writing is very imaginative. It is very action packed. Just not for me.

Naming convention gets a little annoying at times, but I must confess a childlike glee at the upgrade from fire paw to the newer name. Though, a part of me thinks a better name would be poop nugget. Because of all the poops taken, and of his compact, nugget-like form.

I bought this book to accompany my family on a long car trip and was pleased at how well it was written. It was extremely entertaining not only for my 10yr old and 7yr old but for all the adults in the car as well. It was performed well and we enjoyed the different voices of MacLeod Andrews and will definitely look for more books narrated by him!
