From FC Bayern Pathway to professional debut! 🔴⚪️ | The unique journey of Maycon Cardozo

Born in São Paulo, Cardozo spent most of his childhood in Thailand. There, where his father was also a professional player, the Brazilian-born footballer took his first steps in soccer and played for several youth teams at the STB Sports Thai Bavaria Academy, which works closely with the record champions. His performances earned him a place in the Global Academy's international U18 team. Here, too, Cardozo showed great promise and secured himself a place in FCB's U19 World Squad project, which builds on the U18 team. He then earned his contract with FC Bayern after a trial training session with the U17 team. This was followed in the summer by a move to the U19 team and then, towards the end of last year, regular professional training sessions with the first team and head coach Vincent Kompany.
