i didn't expect this to be good. is not something that people would likely to like. is not that bad, the first part is sad, and the storyline is also not bad—like this part two. i laughed at the ending, because sgt. Kim is going to be a guardian? 😭 anyways, it’s still good even tho i’m watching this at the year 2025, it’s been 7-6 years i guessz.

is there a English version

l really enjoyed this .the plot twist was amazing

What a beautiful, powerful movie! Aside from being very entertaining, it delivers a strong, humane message about pain, forgiveness, hope, love, and caring for people; to quote some of the best quotes of the movie: "There are no bad people, only bad circumstances" "Everyone you meet will go away some day". - Reminds us of our own mortality, and to be kind to one another, for our time on this earth is finite. At least my two cents on the matter. A beautiful movie. I loved it. I recommend it.

The plots, storylines, casts, graphics are all awesome!

Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days is the sequel to Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds and a vast improvement over the first part that suffered from a chaotic story line, exaggerated special effects and shallow characters. This sequel gives the characters involved more depth by telling their moving background stories that are all cleverly interwoven. The plot is more structured despite numerous flashbacks and side stories and leaves no questions unanswered at the end. The special effects are still present but used with precision, intellect and care this time around. There are only a few minor elements to criticize. The movie is slightly overlong with a length of one hundred forty-two minutes. The film could have been shortened by at least fifteen minutes or so in the middle section. Another problem is that the film tries to be a tearjerker and while several scenes are genuinely moving, the last third of the film feels overtly melancholic. It's so intense towards the end that it almost becomes a parody. Still, the character development, detailed plot and better use of special effects make this blockbuster a vast improvement over the first part. If you haven't watched the first movie however, you won't fully understand what's going on in this one. If one puts the two movies together as a complete piece of art, it's a decent to very good blockbuster comparable to contemporary Hollywood cinema with its breathtaking effects but at times shallow stories.

The visuals are really good, but the story is a bit confusing for me. This time, the story is more history than fantasy. Hence, without knowing Korean history, it's difficult to understand the story.

Really good story and character development; echoes with part 1 a lot, so better make sure u remember the details from that before watching this. I think the themes of this movie is redemption and forgiving, while the themes of part 1 is regrets and the judgement of good/evil. Very inspiring. Jumps between storylines thus may be a little confusing, but it's good and clear overall. The backstory from 1000 yrs ago is very well written. CGI did keep up the standard. May need to watch it twice to be able to pick up all the details and clues.

The First Along With the Gods was good. This sequel is very weak. The google translation is absolutely awful, which makes understanding difficult. The film itself just didn't grab me at all. The first one did, it was excellent; it was all action, flowing from one task to the next. This film is a mish-mash, none of the characters make me want to finish the film. And I stopped 1/3 of the way through.

The plot was strong and connected ,, proceeding with saving the soul of Kim Ja-hong during a long trial of 49 days ... and introducing the side story of the kid and the grandfather and their protector was a bold smart choice ,, and finally we know the truth and connection between the trio "Gang-rim, Hae Won-maeg and I Deog-chun" ... It was literally near perfection, the cinematography and visual effects were spot on ,, and even the script had more action than the first movie it still didn't lose the emotional dramatic part. The cast was even better than last time ,, they now get along "in away" and you can feel the banter and back and forth comedic lines flying :D . The final two scenes in the credits were amazing and shocking and a possible open gate for "finger crossed" a third and last movie to see how the story of "Kim Ja-hong" will finally end :)
